Touchscreen and dedicated knobs and buttons can both be used for control. WiFi and Bluetooth connect the unit to the IFD 100 app and other EFB apps. TAWS-B is not available on IFD4XX units. The two shop variants differ only in bezel colour: 850-00179-010 black, 850-00179-110 grey.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe IFD4XX is designed as a slide-in replacement for a GNS 430\/430W: the existing tray and wiring may be reused, with changes described in the installation manual. In EASA aircraft, installation follows EASA STC 10058132 for types on its approved model list, or another approved modification, and ends with a release to service. The tray and installation kit are separate kits (850-00184-002).
