Dynon designed it for the Van’s RV plates only and advises against its use with other capacitive fuel level sensors.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe male BNC connector plugs into the female BNC connector on the Van’s RV tank. Three wires go to the SV-EMS-220\/221: black to ground (pin 5, 13, 16, 17 or 30), white to a fuel level input (pin 8, 22, 23 or 31) and red to the 12 V output on pin 15. Power input is 10–15 V DC with a 25 mA draw; in a 24 V aircraft the converter is powered from the EMS, as more than 15 V damages it. The unit weighs 0.04 kg. Dynon SkyView experimental products are not intended for type-certificated aircraft.
