It shows EGT, RPM, manifold pressure, oil pressure, oil or air temperature and CHT or coolant temperature, updates five times per second and records 160 hours of engine data.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInputs are four thermocouples, two NTC or PT-100 resistance sensors, one oil pressure sender (Keller 4–20 mA or VDO 10 bar), RPM and manifold pressure. Limits for Rotax 447, 503, 582, 618, 912, 912 S and 914 are preconfigured, and the unit warns when a value exceeds them. Engine data goes to a microSD card or over Bluetooth to the EngiBOX app, which can share it with a Rotax service centre. The unit runs on 10–35 V DC.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEngiBOX is not certified for VFR or IFR flight and does not replace certified engine instruments. Sensors other than the four EGT probes are not included.
