A status LED shows power, CAN communication and faults. Analog heading and course error outputs exist only on the GAD 29B and 29D.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGarmin states that the G3X system is not type-certificated and not suitable for type-certificated aircraft. A certified aircraft needs an approved modification and a Certificate of Release to Service, and Garmin’s certified G3X Touch guide lists the GAD 29B and 29D instead. Connector kit 011-03271-00 is required and is not part of the unit.
