The antenna needs at least 2 ft from VHF COM antennas, 9 to 12 in centre-to-centre from other antennas and 3 in from the windscreen, and a metal ground plane extending at least 7.5 in beyond its edge. It seals with an O-ring; washers, locknuts and the doubler (115-00846-00, or 115-00873-00 for pressurized aircraft) are not included.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInstallation follows the aircraft type certificate or an approved modification and ends with a Certificate of Release to Service.
