In JPI installation manual Report No. 908 Rev K, the 159936A is the oil pressure sensor of the EDM-900 and EDM-930 primary engine monitors.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe monitor supplies the sensor with 5 V. The sensor connects to the OIL-P lead of J3 harness 790422 through a 3-pin connector: pin 1 ground, pin 2 signal, pin 3 +5 V. It is clamped to the firewall with an MS21919 clamp and joined to the engine oil pressure port by a flexible hose; it must not be mounted directly on the engine. Hose and fittings are not supplied.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eReport No. 908 Rev N (October 2025) lists the VDO sensor 306018 for EDM-900\/930 oil pressure instead. A certified aircraft needs the replacement done to the approved installation data and a Certificate of Release to Service.
