It is available for four-, six-, seven-, eight- and nine-cylinder engines, without fuel level indication or with fuel level in two tanks (left and right) or four tanks (left and right main and auxiliary); seven- to nine-cylinder configurations read four tanks. It has one VGA colour display (1000 cd\/m²) and a remote alarm display in front of the pilot.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStandard functions are RPM, manifold pressure, EGT and CHT on every cylinder, oil temperature and pressure, fuel flow with fuel used and time to empty, OAT, volts, amps and percent horsepower. Engine data is recorded, with GPS position from a GPS connected over RS-232, and downloads to a USB stick. The instrument adapts to a 14 V or 28 V bus automatically. On radial engines, CHT is measured with spark plug gasket probes under the rear plugs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe EDM-930 replaces the original engine instruments as primary instruments under EASA STC 10051939 (FAA STC SA01435SE) for the aircraft types on its approved model list. The installation follows JPI Report No. 908, uses an aircraft-specific database and ends with a Certificate of Release to Service. The kit includes pre-wired harnesses, EGT and CHT probes, the standard engine sensors and a FloScan fuel flow transducer; aircraft-specific hoses and fittings are not included.
