Returns

This page covers two procedures: withdrawal from a contract by a Consumer and a claim for a defect. The rights themselves are set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Business Buyers cannot return goods without a defect. A core deposit is refunded under the exchange terms, not by withdrawal.

Withdrawal from the contract

A Consumer may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods. For several items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

Use the function Withdraw from contract here on this page, or send an unequivocal statement to airteam@airteam.eu or by post to AIR TEAM, s.r.o., Masarykovo náměstí 354, 664 71 Veverská Bítýška, Czech Republic. The model form below may be used but is not obligatory. We confirm receipt of a withdrawal sent online or by e-mail by e-mail, with its content and the date and time it was sent.

After withdrawal, send the goods back within 14 days to the address we give you. You pay the direct cost of the return. Goods that cannot be returned by post, such as dangerous or bulky goods, cost up to approximately EUR 150 to return. You are liable for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check the goods. Installed or programmed parts and parts without their seals or release documentation can be returned, but the loss in value may reach the full price. We refund the price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery within 14 days of your withdrawal, but not before we receive the goods or proof that you have sent them.

Withdrawal does not apply in particular to goods made or programmed for you, unsealed hygiene items such as ear seals and oxygen masks, and unsealed software and databases. The full list is in clause 8.6 of the Terms. If you withdraw from the purchase of an exchange unit and return it, the core deposit is refunded with the price.

Dangerous goods, such as lithium batteries and emergency locator transmitters, may be returned only after our instruction and with the required dangerous-goods documentation.

Claim for a defect

Report the defect through the form on this page or to airteam@airteam.eu. A claim needs the order number, the part number, a description of the fault and, where possible, photographs. Do not send the goods until we give you a return address and an RMA number.

Consumers have the rights for lack of conformity under the law that applies to them: 24 months from receipt, 12 months for used, serviceable, overhauled and exchange goods. We confirm the claim by e-mail and settle it within 30 days. If the claim is justified, we pay the necessary return costs.

Business Buyers have the rights under the manufacturer's warranty, which we pass on to the manufacturer. A visible defect, a wrong item or a shortage must be reported within 3 business days of delivery; a hidden defect within 14 days of discovery and no later than 12 months after delivery. Transport to us or to the manufacturer and the costs of removal and reinstallation are paid by the Business Buyer.

A defect does not include wear consistent with the stated condition, or damage caused by improper installation, use or maintenance.

Transport damage

Check the parcel on delivery and have visible damage recorded by the carrier. Report hidden transport damage to airteam@airteam.eu with photographs of the parcel and the goods. Business Buyers must report it within 2 business days of delivery.
