Champion Aerospace Slick 6361 is a pressurized 6300-series magneto with an impulse coupling for six-cylinder engines. Lycoming Service Instruction 1443R lists it as the left magneto of the TIO-540-W2A, -AF1A, -AF1B, -AG1A, -AH1A, -AJ1A and -AK1A and of the IO-540-AA1B5, and as the right magneto of the TIO-540-W2A, -AJ1A and -AK1A.

Champion Aerospace Slick 6361 is a pressurized 6300-series magneto with an impulse coupling for six-cylinder engines. Lycoming Service Instruction 1443R lists it as the left magneto of the TIO-540-W2A, -AF1A, -AF1B, -AG1A, -AH1A, -AJ1A and -AK1A and of the IO-540-AA1B5, and as the right magneto of the TIO-540-W2A, -AJ1A and -AK1A.
The Lycoming part number for the 6361 is 66LC35SDNP. The 6361 supersedes the earlier Slick 6261. Champion lists the MK604 maintenance kit and the MK631 500-hour inspection kit for this model. L-1318 gives left-hand rotation and a 35° impulse-coupling lag angle for the 6361. The shaft rotation is shown on the data plate; the replacement magneto must have the same rotation as the one removed.
Lycoming requires a replacement with the same or a superseding model and asks for confirmation from the airframe manufacturer that the Slick magneto is acceptable for the airframe. Lycoming requires pressurized magnetos on TIO-540 engines. On EASA aircraft the magneto is timed to the engine after installation and released to service with a Certificate of Release to Service. Fit depends on the engine model and the P/N from the data plate of the magneto removed.
