Garmin K10-00002-10 is the G1000 NXi upgrade kit for King Air 200 series aircraft already equipped with the Garmin G1000 integrated flight deck under STC SA01535WI-D. The NXi displays keep the footprint and connector of the G1000 displays, so the instrument panel is not modified.

For the King Air 200/300 series, the NXi update introduces GDU 1050A and GDU 1550 displays, the GCU 477 keypad controller and Flight Stream 510 for data streaming and database updates. The system software adds SurfaceWatch, visual approach support, HSI map, vertical situation display, NEXRAD animation and IFR/VFR maps. The GTX 345R transponder is optional; it cannot replace a GTX 33D in an EASA-registered aircraft or a GTX 3000 in a TCAS II installation. Garmin covers display upgrades with a two-year warranty.

EASA has approved the G1000 NXi STC for the King Air 200/300/350. The installation is an approved modification followed by a Certificate of Release to Service. The King Air 300 series uses kit K10-00002-11. Fit depends on the aircraft model, the serial number and the installed G1000 system software version.
