PS Engineering PMA8000E is an audio selector panel with a six-place stereo intercom, built for dual audio panel installations. A ship set consists of two units, one for the pilot and one for the copilot. The two units exchange status and prevent both crew members from transmitting on the same radio. Each unit switches three COM transceivers, selects NAV 1, NAV 2, ADF, DME, AUX and marker audio and has four unswitched inputs for warning audio.

The intercom has automatic voice-activated squelch, isolate, all and crew modes and two stereo music inputs. A Bluetooth interface carries telephone calls and music, and an internal recorder replays the last COM messages. The -05xx versions add a 3-light 75 MHz marker beacon receiver; versions also differ in backlighting (14/28 V or 5 V dimmer) and bezel colour.

The PMA8000E is approved to ETSO-C50c and, for the marker beacon receiver, ETSO-2C35d. Each unit runs on 11–33 V DC (2.5 A maximum, 5 A pull-type breaker) and needs 182 mm behind the panel. Speakers, headset jacks, marker antenna and wiring are not included. A certified aircraft needs an approved modification and a Certificate of Release to Service after installation. Fit depends on the aircraft type, the radios to be connected and the required P/N.
