Trig TC90 is the panel control unit for the Trig TY91 and TY92 remote VHF COM radios, certified to ETSO-2C169a and TSO-C169a. It mounts in a standard 57 mm (2¼ in) instrument hole or the smaller Trig compact cut-out, is 44 mm high and 63 mm wide, needs 74 mm behind the panel with the connector fitted and weighs 90 g. Operating limits are −20 to +55 °C and 35,000 ft.

The TC90 draws its power from the radio and connects to it through a single 15-way D-type connector, which also accepts a serial frequency preload, usually from a GPS. It stores nine frequency memories. One TY91 or TY92 can be operated from two TC90 units, for example in a tandem cockpit; most settings are mirrored between the two heads, and preloaded frequencies appear only on the TC90 connected to the GPS.

The shop offers a new TC90 control head (01454-00) without the radio unit, and a repair of an existing TC90 (00857-00-01). Fit depends on the radio model; a repair quote needs the serial number and the fault description.
