BendixKing 89000120-003 is the configuration module and connector installation kit for the KSD 100EXP primary flight display of the xVue Touch system for non-type-certificated aircraft. The kit contains the programmed configuration module circuit card assembly 89400020-064, a 78-pin D-sub male connector (53504890-1) with 78 size 22 crimp pins (53504891-2) and a 78-pin D-sub female connector (53501676-2) with 78 size 22 crimp sockets (53504891-1).
The configuration module is installed in the backshell assembly of the KSD 100EXP J2 connector and is handled as an ESD-sensitive item during installation. The backshell kit (89000120-002) and the mounting hardware and grip kit (89000120-007) are separate P/Ns; BendixKing lists one of each per xVue Touch installation. Fit depends on the KSD 100EXP P/N and the installation kits already on hand.
