What is the bracket made of?

Aircraft-grade aluminium, welded: the mast passes through a slot in a rectangular plate and is welded in place. It has a gold chem-film (Alodine) coating against corrosion that is ready for paint; for a polished finish, the coating comes off with aluminium polishing compound. It weighs 0.30 lb (0.14 kg).

Which pitot probes fit this bracket?

Dynon's unheated and heated AOA/pitot probes, P/N 100141-000 and 100667-000. The mast follows the standard AN5812 mounting profile, which Dynon notes is used by most pitot tubes, so a probe from another maker fits when it is built for an AN5812 mast.

What is in the kit, and what is the small angle piece for?

The welded pitot mast plate, a cutting template for the skin opening and rivet holes, and a 1 x 1 in angle bracket. The angle bracket ties the mast plate to the adjacent wing rib; Dynon describes it as essential for a secure mount under flight loads, so it cannot be left out. The installation steps are in Dynon's AOA/pitot probe installation guide.

Is the bracket suitable for aircraft other than the RV-7 to RV-10, such as an RV-14?

Dynon designed it and its cutting template for the RV-7, RV-8, RV-9 and RV-10 and gives no specific RV-14 instructions. In other aircraft it can be used, but Dynon warns that it may need modification, possibly significant; the builder decides the hole positions and the attachment to the rib. Any other AN5812-type under-wing mast is an alternative.
