Garmin 010-11756-00 is the aviation mount with connected power cable and audio output for the aera 795 and aera 796 portable GPS, named by Garmin Aviation Mount with CLA, aera 79x. The powered mount and its cable supply external power to the aera from the aircraft power outlet (cigarette lighter receptacle), and the 3.5 mm headphone jack carries the aera audio callouts to headphones. The mount attaches to the yoke mount with the included mounting hardware; the Garmin yoke mount for the aera 79x is 010-11756-06.
The aera starts charging as soon as external power is applied, and Garmin requires the power cable to be routed so that it does not interfere with aircraft operation. The cigarette lighter adapter takes a 3 A fast-blow fuse.
