Garmin GDC 7400 is a remote-mounted digital air data computer for Garmin integrated flight decks. It computes air data from the aircraft pitot-static system and from a GTP 59 outside air temperature probe and supplies it over ARINC 429 to the integrated avionics units, the AHRS and the displays.

The unit is held in a mounting tray by a hold-down clamp, with one electrical connector and the pitot and static lines at the rear. The configuration file is loaded into the internal memory of the unit; GDC 7400 has no separate configuration module. Mandatory Garmin Service Bulletin 22029 (2022) covers pitot and static fittings that can loosen on affected 011-02337-01 units.

In the Garmin G1000/GFC 700 retrofit for the King Air 200/B200 (FAA STC SA01535WI-D), GDC 7400 is the optional alternative to GDC 74B; aircraft modified under this STC are eligible for RVSM approval, and RVSM-critical maintenance applies. A US STC is not automatic EASA approval. A certified installation needs an approved modification that covers the aircraft type and a Certificate of Release to Service. Shop P/N 010-00787-01 is a new unit. Fit depends on the aircraft type and serial number and the installed flight deck.
