Garmin GDU 700L is the 7-inch landscape touchscreen display of the G500 TXi, G600 TXi and EIS TXi flight display systems, with 800 × 480 pixels. Garmin introduced the 7-inch landscape format as a dedicated, standalone engine indication (EIS) display; in the G500H TXi helicopter system the GDU 700L is configured as a PFD. The display runs on 10–40 V DC at 42 W typical.

A TXi system combines up to four 10.6-inch or 7-inch displays, and each display can carry an integrated AHRS and air data module on its rear. With the optional backup GPS antenna, the display switches to its backup GPS when the primary source is lost; position data comes from an external SBAS GPS navigator such as a GTN 650/750 or GNS 430W/530W. The P/N suffix defines the TXi system configuration and bezel colour.

G500 TXi is intended for Class I/II aircraft under 6,000 lb, G600 TXi for aircraft up to 12,500 lb. Garmin announced FAA and EASA approval of G500 TXi and G600 TXi in 2018. A certified installation needs an approved modification covering the aircraft type and a Certificate of Release to Service. Fit depends on the P/N, the aircraft type, the planned TXi configuration and the installed GPS navigator.
