Garmin K00-00733-00 is the replacement knob set for the GTR 225, GTR 225A and GTR 225B COM radios and the GNC 255A and GNC 255B COM/NAV radios, listed in the service parts table of the GTR 225/GNC 255 maintenance manual. Field repair of these units is limited to the knobs and the cooling fan assembly (K00-00732-00).
The manual covers the COM/NAV volume knob (430-00053-00) and the inner and outer dual frequency knobs (430-00030-10, 430-00044-00); each knob pulls off its encoder shaft and is pressed back on with the flat feature aligned. Fit depends on the radio model.
