RC Allen RCA26EK is a 3-inch electric attitude indicator for 14 V or 28 V DC aircraft, made by Kelly Manufacturing Company. The multi-volt instrument operates from 10 to 30 V DC; an electrically driven gyro rotor senses pitch and roll, with 360° roll indication. Starting current is 3.4 A maximum at 14 V DC and 1.4 A maximum at 28 V DC.

All versions have a pull-to-cage knob, a power failure flag and an adjustable symbolic airplane, with a high-contrast colour scheme and a yellow airplane and pointer. RCA26EK-11 (unlighted) and RCA26EK-12 (lighted) have a fixed pointer and a rotating roll dial; RCA26EK-13 (unlighted) and RCA26EK-14 (lighted) have a movable pointer and a stationary roll dial. On the lighted versions, the circuit board handles the lighting voltage, so it is not specified at order. A slip indicator, P/N 444-0010-01, is available as an add-on.

The indicator fits the standard 3⅛-inch panel cut-out. The panel tilt angle, 0° to 18°, is calibrated at the factory and must be specified at order. The instrument meets TSO-C4c. In an EASA aircraft, the installation follows approved data for the type and ends with a Certificate of Release to Service. Fit depends on the version, the panel tilt angle and the aircraft type.
