Acron Aviation 0035-17010-01 is the enablement certificate that activates TerrainVision on the panel-mount Lynx NGT-9000 (P/N 9029000-20000); the NGT-9000 installation manual lists it as "Enablement Certificate, NGT-9000, Terrain Display Only (No Alerts)". TerrainVision shows colour-coded terrain and land-based obstacles around the aircraft, similar to the TAWS display but without visual or aural alerts, and is not a Class B TAWS.
The function needs NGT-9000 software Release 2.1 or later and is not available on the remote-mount NGT-9000R. It is activated with a 10-digit function activation code entered with the Lynx maintenance tool (MPC/MAT) during installation; the code is tied to the aircraft ICAO (Mode S) address and works only on that aircraft. Fit depends on the installed NGT-9000 model. An order needs the aircraft ICAO address.
