Garmin 494-70009-00 is the oil temperature sensor in the Garmin TXi engine sensor kits K00-01010-11 (4 cylinders) and K00-01011-11 (6 cylinders). It is a Type K thermocouple sensor made by UMA, which Garmin’s installation manuals list as T3B3-2.5G.
In the G500/G600 TXi Part 23 AML STC and GI 275 installation manuals Garmin lists it with interface and installation authorization. The UMA probes T3B3, T3B3A and T3B3-2.5 appear there as interface only and need a separate installation approval. These are US approvals; in EASA aircraft a certified installation needs an approved modification and a Certificate of Release to Service. Fit depends on the engine model and the engine indication system.
